The Jonas Brothers Get Immortalized In Wax In Hollywood

Posted on | October 1, 2009 | No Comments

Was2617300The Jonas Brothers head back out onto the road next week and will be out of the country traveling South American and Europe for the next two months, which means that American fans will be abnegated the boys’ comportment in their native country. Luckily, there are three lifelike doppelgangers stationed in Hollywood who will allow for visits any time (or at least during museum hours). Yesterday (September 30), Madame Tussaud’s unveiled the wax figures of the pop-rock trio. The statues cost a total of $1 million to raise and feature actual clothes worn by the band (they presented a few outfits for the cause).

This is not the first time the band has been given a wax tribute — they’ve already got wax replicas at the Madame Tussaud’s in Washington, D.C. (which introduced in 2008). In the 18 months in between the two carving premieres, the artists clearly haven’t figured out what to do with Nick, who is laid at an extremely odd angle. (The Washington interpretation also features his body shaped at odd angles.) He is an gumptious performer for sure, and is often caught up with photos in particularly unorthodox rock poses, but he really looks like he is got some troubles with his bone structure.

The band took some time off from their tour for their most previous album Lines, Vines and Trying Times to go film the sequel to “Camp Rock” up in Canada. Now that they have absorbed up, their tour takes them to a few U.S. dates before they break out their passports for stops in Mexico, Venezuela and a number of cities in Europe.

The Jonas Brothers are led for big brother Kevin’s bachelor party. Kevin Jonas is getting married to his fiancee Danielle Deleasa soon. For the wedding Kevin has picked his two brothers as the best man. Both Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas will also go to the bachelor party.

Nick and Joe assured to people magazine, “It will be good, clean fun. We are becoming to have a good time with friends and family. It won’t be in Vegas. Vegas is not really the ideal place. We are guessing somewhere even cooler and better. It’s a great deal, but Kevin kind of has already planned it himself. He will give us suggestions on what he would wish and we keep on trying to tell him no. We’re like, ‘You have no participation in planning this. Just get ready to have a good time.'”.

The Jonas Brothers looks all set to party hard over the next few days and coundown the days to big brother Kevin’s reception date. Here’s wishing a merry time to the Jonas Brothers.

No ‘Valentine’s Day’ for Joe Jonas

Posted on | September 28, 2009 | No Comments

jonasContrary to sooner reports, Joe Jonas will not take a contribution in forthcoming romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day”. laying the rumor straight was the middle of the Jonas Brothers himself. “I actually went for the audition and it was looking really good, but scheduling just wasn’t working out,” he opened up to Just Jared.

“They were shooting in the summer and we [Jonas Brothers] were traveling during the summer,” the 20-year-old continued explaining. “We estimated it out on our part but it was just unmanageable because they’re working with so many superstars, that scheduling is really hard to adjust than a normal film like if it was just me and a few other people.”

Although he recognized there is scheduling struggle, Joe didn’t rule out theory of him causing a cameo totally. “It’s Anne Hathaway and all these other big stars that star in that movie and they have to shift schedules around,” he said. “I think we’re going to try and do something for that, but it all depends on schedules.”

Back in mid-August, Joe has been described close to bringing together the star-studded cast of the romantic drama in which his former girlfriend Taylor Swift has been set to star. At the time, it wasn’t clear what portion he will tackle, but E! Online claimed the singer won’t be playing himself.

Chronicling five slightly interconnecting stories occurring during one Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles, “Valentine’s Day” looks like another intertwining romantic comedy “Love Actually”. The initial screenplay was written by Katherine Fugate with a rewrite by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein. This movie is aimed by “The Princess Diaries” and “Georgia Rule” helmer Garry Marshall.

Jonas Brothers meet the Long Haul Bombers

jonas-brothersRED WING — A mass text message was sent out by a passerby at the softball field where the Jonas Brothers were celebrating Nick’s 17th birthday last Wednesday.

A huge crowd soon gathered in right field of the little athletic complex in Toronto, where the boy circle is currently filming “Camp Rock: The Final Jam.”

The Jonas Brothers’ father, Kevin Sr., inquired the group for some privacy for the low-key, 40-person gathering. But the reaction he found from the group of middle-aged men surprised him.

“They were like, ‘Oh, we are here to see the Long Haul Bombers,'” said Red Wing’s Rich Buck, who was among the Bombers fled in as celebrity guests for the occasion. “They had no thought the Jonas Brothers were there.”

The Long-Haul Bombers are a softball team that contends in home run competitions prior to Major League Baseball games. Buck, 37, took his cuts in San Diego, Seattle, Cincinnati, Toronto, Colorado and Minnesota this summer. His two-man Miken team gained the championship for the second straight year, while he completed sixth individually with 52 home runs. The competition finished in August.

The Jonas Brothers — Paul, Joe and Nick Jonas — have a pop band and star in a Disney Channel TV show.

Nick Jonas, who’s a big softball fan, had asked for a new bat for his birthday. Before long, a representative at Softball 360 had turned that request into a full-fledged outing for the Long Haul Bombers. Four hitters were reached on Tuesday. They flew up to Toronto and played on Wednesday before bringing back home on Thursday.

Jonas Brothers in Panama City

Posted on | September 24, 2009 | No Comments

jonas_brothersTeeny boppers and teeny bopper mothers, get prepare to scream as the Jonas Brothers are playing the Figali Convention Center in Panama City on October 28th, 2009.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!  Veritable ticket sales begin today, and if these brothers are as popular as the world says, I would get your tickets fast.

For those of you who experience in a hole (like myself), the Jonas Brothers are the Disney mega sensation who have ramped the teen pop music scene and faded the hearts of girls (and boys) around the world with their flowing locks of hair and their squeaky clean lyrics and poppy hooks.  The brother’s last two albums debuted at #1 in the billboard charts and their most Holocene album Lines, Vines and Trying Times has been found with some critical acclaim.  Panama is the only stop planned in Central America on the Jonas Brothers’ world tour, which draws us in the words of Ron Burgundy, kind of a big deal.

The show starts at 8pm on a Wednesday night, which may or may not discourage the 8 year old girls from depicting up with their favorite brother plastered on their chest; however, with the Jonas Brothers’ new CD introducing as #1 in Latin America as well, you can anticipate full vaned under 18 chaos on the Causeway on the 28th.  If you are interested in strapping on your purity ring and attending this concert, tickets go on sale today at limited Digicel retailers.

Jonas Brothers ‘Our Mom Still Makes Our Breakfast’

Posted on | September 23, 2009 | No Comments

the-jonas-brothersThe Jonas Brothers are barely babies anymore – one’s even leading down the aisle pretty soon, so you can imagine our shock at listening that their mum still makes them breakfast – bless!

Despite being aged 21, 20 and 17, the pop trio have conceded that their mum still likes to send her boys off for the day on a full stomach.

And while we realize that their schedule might not allow for much time in the kitchen, we do concern that Kevin’s fiancée Danielle Deleasa doesn’t know quite what’s she’s in for…

Speaking about their breakfast habits, Kevin says: “Each one of us has their own thing. I have a bagel, sometimes oatmeal. Joe has oatmeal and eggs. He’s also got that whole omelette thing going on too.”

Nick then admits: “Yeah, and mum usually cooks breakfast and gives it to us so we can eat it in the car on the way.”

Yep, these three are mommy’s boys for sure!

We’re like, ‘You have no involvement in 58208285planning this. Just get ready to have a good time.'”

-Nick and Joe Jonas, speaking to People about the bachelor party they are designing on throwing Kevin. The two lesser Jonas Brothers will both serve as best man to their older sibling’s wedding, which will likely happen sometime after the completion of the filming of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” which stars all three JoBros. Despite looking forward to married life, Kevin says expanding his family isn’t in the cards just yet. “It would be incredible to be a dad and raise a family,” he said. “I hope to someday. But it won’t be anytime soon.”

2068This is concording to Billboard that differentiates in the world of music.

The report supports that the Jonas Brothers have lost about half of their fans in the last year.

Even though their latest CD,  Lines, Vines and Trying Times has sold 200 thousand copies, that’s not very much equated to how many copies they sold with their first album, which topped at a 1/2 million copies.

It’s not just their CDs that aren’t doing well, they have also lost fans. They used to have 48 million fans and now they have about 25 million, which is still a lot but nothing compared to what it used to be and is clearly a sign of just how many fans they have lost in the last few months.
